Let's talk about sizing
Hi ladies! It's been a bit since I've added a blog post, so I wanted to do a quick check in.
1. First and foremost, I want to give a big, huge, thank you for everyone who has shopped, and shared, and sent me pictures. I get so excited every time i see people enjoying the items i can provide!
2. Second on the list of things I want to chat about is sizing. I am a firm believer that we DO NOT NEED X's in front of numbers. Look, we don't need a constant reminder that the fashion industry thinks women of a certain size have "eXtra".
Therefore, here at SGB, we dropped the X. I will attach our size chart to this blog post so you can take a look. Here's the basics, a 00 is equal to a medium (even though there are only a few 00 options here). A 0 is equal to a large, and so on. I try to make sure every item description gives the size being worn by the model to make it a little clearer.
In addition, my goal is to carry items that are very true to size. Sometimes clothes run a little big or a little small, so I will always try to add that into the description, too. Flowy or oversized clothing can also be just a bit tricky. Some items are meant to fit loosely, so in the description I will try to make note of that so you can size down if you prefer a more fitted look.
I encourage you to follow our Facebook page so you can get updates and see more photos of clothes that may not be included on this website. I also would love to hear from you via email or FB messenger if you have questions or requests!
As always, thank you for all you do. We'll chat again soon!
